concept
The concept of xingchenchan is to reveal the depiction of how modern humans relate to the cosmos. 星(xing) means the universe, 尘(chen) means tiny, and 廛(chan) means human practice. Humans in the universe are insignificant, yet they are both interconnected with each other. The use of metal texture and fluid form reveals how the author’s use of modern, scientific and technological integration are vital to how human beings are conflicted in the universe.
Original music is made by the use of sampling editing techniques to show how cold the atmosphere of technology and science can be, and how empty and far-reaching it is to express the sounds of the universe and the insignificance of human life. Through the distortion of the sound and deformation of the fusion of visual changes, this work creates a visual and sonic impact through imaginative work.
